LEMBRANDO PHIFE DAWG - A TRIBE CALLED QUEST [ATCQ]



Phife Dawg - A Tribe Called Quest
Ao longo de uma carreira extraordinária em um dos grupos mais importantes no hip-hop,O 'A Tribe Called Quest' sempre formou confortavelmente a sua própria trajetória. Foi um dos pioneiros em trazer o 'smooth jazz' no hip hop, e foi irônico ao ajudar a introduzir J Dilla para todos. O seu lugar no hall da fama do hip-hop foi reservado anos atrás... o que torna a infeliz perda de Phife Dawg no início do ano ainda mais dolorosa.

A chave para essa dinâmica lírica do 'A Tribe…' era uma espécie de yin e yang entre Q-Tip The Abstract e Phife Dawg, o assassino de cinco pés (Phife era baixinho, tinha 1,52 de altura).
